It was a memorable first time experience for myself at this year’s revamped Electric Zoo 3.0 that took play September 2-4th at Randall’s Island in New York City. The 13th annual event was highlighted by headliners Porter Robinson, Armin van Buuren and Martin Garrix.

     Friday I was able to catch up with artists Zack Martino and Jason Ross behind the scenes at the media lounge. Meanwhile, stellar performances from Diplo, Gem and Tauri and Joel Corry took place just to name a few of the talented acts to kickoff the festival weekend.

     Observing the grounds, you could see the all new innovative stages were one of a kind and certainly futuristic as many described them. Festivals go beyond music and become an experience with the Patron Patio, White Claw lounge and living fit with Celsius to keep the energy flowing!

     Saturday brought spectacular acts such as John Summit, Gorgon City, DJ Diesel, DJ Snake, Will Clarke, Gattuso & more! I was able to chat with QRTR and XCRPT behind the scenes as my festival coverage for 88.5 WRKC continued.

     The weather was picture perfect all weekend long and proved to be an experience I won’t soon forget. All electronic music fans must check out this premiere festival once in their life Labor Day weekend!
